Watch concept

Every now and again as most designers do, i have an idea pop into my head that I stop everything im doing and splurt my ideas out.

This is one of those times, a simple watch concept.

the idea around this watch is that the hour and minutes move, rather than the hands.
this would create a simple way of telling the time by looking to the top of the watch face.

Freestyle Powerblading // Good idea?

I am a long time rollerblader, and i always have a passion for designing new things for my sport.

As of late there has been a new trend in the sport called Powerblading, where the normal 55mm – 60mm wheels are replaced with 80mm wheels. this allow for a new series on tricks to be achievable.

for around 5 years i have been skating a setup called freestyle which removes the need for middle wheels in favour of a larger space to do “grinds” on. this style has not yet been implemented into powerblading and I’m starting to wonder if this would be a great setup? here’s my take on what it would look like

I love my Lamy Noto pen. I think Naoto Fukasawa has created nearly the perfect pen, simple and unique all for a very reasonable price.

Weekend projects // no. 1

Well here’s the plan, every weekend I will endeavor to build, design or draw a new project.
This project was done last weekend and is somthing I’ve been wanting to complete for a long time.

I finished painting my single speed bike with automotive paints, unfortunately it’s not a true 2 pack paint but the result turned out fantastic!

Been playing around with Photoshop today, im really impressed with the “content aware” fill. It was really easy to get rid of the old truck in the photograph.

quite happy with how it came out. Here are a few steps the image went through.
